SPECIAL ISSUE ON:

The first International Conference on Materials Sciences and Mechatronics for Sustainable Energy, and Environment (MSMS2E 2024) has been held in Morocco, during (1 to 3)- October, 2024, with the theme “Materials Sciences and Mechatronics for Sustainable Energy, and Environment” aimed at disseminating knowledge, sharing expertise and experience, and promote an exchange of ideas, research, and technologies among global experts. It focused on how innovations in materials science and mechatronics can advance sustainable energy solutions, and address environmental challenges. It emphasized interdisciplinary collaboration, essential for tackling global challenges like climate change and resource scarcity. The conference explored how materials science and mechatronics can enhance energy efficiency, reduce waste, and support the transition to sustainable industrial processes. This special issue of Journal of Solar Energy and Sustainable Development (JSESD) consists  of high-quality extended papers selected from the conference.
